Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in joining the Philmont Rod & Gun Club.

Established and incorporated in 1923, Philmont Rod & Gun Club is one of the oldest continuously active sportsmen’s clubs in Columbia County. For more than a century, we have been dedicated to preserving outdoor traditions, promoting conservation, and providing opportunities for members and their families to enjoy hunting, shooting sports, fishing, archery, and outdoor recreation.

Our club offers a wide range of amenities and activities, including rifle and pistol ranges, trap shooting, sporting clays, archery programs, hunting opportunities, fishing, and community events throughout the year. We are also proud supporters of youth outdoor education and sponsor programs such as the Annual Kids Fishing Derby, Scout activities, youth archery programs, and the Taconic Hills Titans Trap Team.

The Philmont Rod & Gun Club membership year runs from September 1 through August 31.
