Hunting Lands Available to PRGC Members
Through the generosity of local landowners, members of the Philmont Rod & Gun Club have access to private hunting lands. We are grateful for their support and ask that all members respect both the property and its owners at all times.
Important Notices
Effective September 26, 2026
VOS HOLLOW FARM — HUNTING NOTICE
Vos Hollow Farm is available for both deer and pheasant hunting.
However, Vos Hollow is an active working farm, and fields may still be worked during regular business hours. Hunters should remain alert and aware of farm equipment, vehicles, farm workers, and other activity while hunting.
⚠️ BRIDGE OUT — USE CAUTION
The bridge used to cross the creek at Vos Hollow was destroyed by storms this past year and is currently out.
Please use extreme caution when crossing the creek. Be aware of water conditions, slippery banks, uneven terrain, and changing conditions. Do not attempt to cross if conditions are unsafe.
Effective February 16, 2026, the Butenhoff property has been sold and is no longer part of the PRGC Hunting Program.
Do not hunt on this property.

Club Property Reminder
All members must display the current club button while hunting on club property.
IMPORTANT CLUB BYLAW REMINDER
Member Access to Private Land via Club Property
Please remember this Club bylaw:
“No member of the Philmont Rod and Gun Club will be allowed to cross over land or lands of the Philmont Rod and Gun Club to gain access to his or her own private property.”
Club property may not be used as a route to access a member’s private property. Please respect this rule and the Club’s property boundaries.
