Membership

Thank you for your interest in Philmont Rod and Gun Club.

We were originally organized and incorporated in 1923 making us one of the oldest continuously active clubs in the county.  Our Club has a lot to offer to Hunters, Rod, Gun and Archery Enthusiasts.  We are very involved in the community and sponsor many youth programs such as Fishing derbies, Boys & Girl Scouts & High School Trap Team plus much more.

Our membership year runs from September 1 to August 31.  We do not accept new members during the months of November and December.  Applications received in those months will be processed, held and voted on at the January meeting.

*Please note that a Full Membership is required if you want to hunt on Club lands or Club Leased Lands.

Our main facility, and Clubhouse, is on 65 Railroad Ave in Philmont; turn left, or right, (depending on the direction of travel) next to the old American Legion hall on Route 217 and take Rail Road Avenue all the way to the end.
